Baby Caretta Carettas Meet the Sea in Patara
Teams took action for baby caretta carettas (loggerhead sea turtles) that were unable to emerge from their nests on their own at the world-famous Patara Beach in the Kaş district of Antalya. Safely removed from their nests under the supervision of the Patara Sea Turtle Conservation Project (PADEK) team, the hatchlings were released into the waters of the Mediterranean in an event watched by locals and visitors.
