Antalya’s Kaş district has welcomed its first cruise ship of the season, the Aroya. Arriving from Marmaris, the giant 335-metre, Malta-flagged vessel anchored in the district’s bay.
The ship provided a vibrant boost to local tourism, carrying 2,063 passengers from 48 different countries—with a significant majority being Russian tourists. Accompanied by a crew of well over 1,000, the passengers were safely brought to the harbour in groups using the ship’s tender boats.
After completing their customs procedures, the visitors spent the day exploring the district’s historical and tourist attractions.
